Viy Cortez Pregnancy Update: Cravings, Due Date, Gender, and More!

“Laaaab! Alam ko na yung gender!”

This is how vlogger and entrepreneur Viy Cortez greeted her longtime partner, Cong TV, in a recent YouTube upload.

It could be recalled that in Dec. 2021, the influencer couple announced that they were expecting a baby.

The sweet surprise came almost a year after Viy shared an emotional miscarriage with what was supposed to be her first child with the 30-year-old YouTube sensation.

During the announcement, Viy told her parents that “Baby Kidlat 2.0” is expected to arrive on or before July 24, 2022, a day after her birthday.

Since then, the power couple has shared their pregnancy journey with millions of subscribers and followers on all social media platforms.

Pregnancy Cravings

It is not unknown to many that pregnant women would often crave different varieties of food during the early stages of pregnancy. Our beloved girl boss is no exception to that human nature.

In yet another hilarious vlog entry, the soon-to-be father quips about some of the rather unusual cravings of his beloved “Viviys.” One of which is a meal from a Christening reception celebrated by one of their friends.

Cong TV (born as Lincoln Velasquez) also humorously shared that there is a time that Viy specifically wanted a “Macaroni Salad na gawa ng nanay ng kapitbahay na nilagay sa ref at tinago sa bisita.” The funny scene went viral on social media as viewers could totally relate to Viy Cortez pregnancy journey.

Among the many cravings of Viy include the usual ripe mango, spaghetti, and Crêpe cake. Her appetite for two recently desired an iconic snack called Jovi, a Nata de Coco juice drink that every 90s kid would surely remember.

Pregnancy Brain

Meanwhile, the VIYLINE Group of Companies CEO also revealed having her own fair share of pregnancy brain.

Healthline described the pregnancy brain as the struggle of remembering “details, focus on tasks, or giving undivided attention to just about anything.”

But in a recent vlog post, Viy openly expressed her opinion about a woman and couple’s choice to have kids. The 25-year-old businesswoman believed that she might be having a “pregnancy brain” outburst as she was brutally honest with her thoughts.

Gender Reveal

But wait, there’s more. Viy Cortez recently revealed to Cong TV that the gender of their “Baby Kidlat” is no longer a mystery for her.

The couple recently had a Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT). It is usually done to determine the fetus’s risk for possible genetic features. The test could also identify the baby’s gender as early as ten weeks into the pregnancy.

The most-loved YouTube couple is yet to announce the gender of their baby, but they sure are already planning a gender reveal party that their followers will enjoy.

Baby Kidlat, here we go!

With that, we wish our beloved CEO a happy and healthy pregnancy. Stay tuned for more updates as Cong TV and Viy are about to reveal whether Baby Kidlat would be a Lincoln Jr. or a little sassy Viy.
