As Pickleball continues to gain momentum as one of the fastest-rising sports in the Philippines, Team Payaman’s Dudut Lang are just among the entrepreneur-minded individuals who are maximizing growth opportunities beyond the game itself.
What began as a simple way to get back in shape and fitness eventually became a mission to create The Playhouse Pickle—a welcome hub for beginners, seasoned athletes, and a growing Pickleball community in Bacoor, Cavite.
Game Changer
“Game Changer: The Rise of Dudut’s Pickleball Court” is a documentary written, produced, and directed by Team Payaman’s very own Kevin Hufana, a.k.a Keboy, and Kevin Cancamo, a.k.a, Genggeng, for their Broadcasting Principles and Practices Course in San Beda, Alabang.
The main focus of the 15-minute documentary is the story of Team Payaman’s Jaime Marino de Guzman, a.k.a Dudut Lang, and how the sport Pickleball evolved from being simply a passion into something with a greater purpose.

For Dudut, one of the easiest businesses to build is one that you are genuinely passionate about.
With this mindset, The Playhouse Pickle was established from a simple idea of friends into something that will be used by a whole community of Pickleball enthusiasts from Bacoor, Cavite and nearby provinces.
Dudut also shared that turning an idea into a successful business is far from easy.
Dapat alam mo ang mission and vision mo, and kailangan mo ng funds, suppliers, and tiwala. It’s a matter of how bad you want it,” Dudut explained.
To minimize financial risk, Dudut also jokingly shared how he maximized OPM or Other People’s Money, where he partnered up with friends who were willing to help and invest in the venture as a starting capital.
