Cong TV’s FAMAS Nomination
Through the years, the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) has served as one of the country’s most prestigious award-giving bodies, traditionally recognizing excellence in Philippine cinema.
In a historic shift, Team Payaman’s Lincoln Velasquez, popularly known as Cong TV, has earned a first-ever FAMAS nomination for Best Comedy Show across both long and short-form categories as part of their Broadcast Arts Awards program this year.
In a recent social media announcement, FAMAS revealed that Cong TV is nominated alongside television giants like GMA’s Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto, as well as digital contenders iWantTFC’s Benta Nights, Davao Conyo, and Malupiton.
