Lip Slay Arrives

Last June 17, Lip Slay by VIYLine Cosmetics was an exclusive gift for the newlyweds Lincoln Velasquez,  a.k.a Cong TV, and Viy Cortez-Velasquez’s bridesmaids and female guests.

The bride and VIYLine CEO initially said that this product, released by her cosmetic line, would not be available for purchase.

However, due to public demand, Lip Slay by VIYLine Cosmetics will be limitedly available this June 29, 2024, as the happy bride announced in a Facebook post.

“Sobrang dami gusto ng Lip Slay! 1,000 pcs [pieces] lang! JUNE 29 / 7PM sa Shopee, Lazada at TikTok Shop! unahan na lang guys!  Share nyo ito mamimigay din ako,” Viy wrote.

Lip Slay by VIYLine Cosmetics is velvet matte lipstick suitable for everyday use. Each 5mL bottle is equipped with a curved-doe-foot applicator for easy application.

This newest addition to VIYLine Cosmetics’ product line was personally formulated by Viy Cortez. It promises to stay for as long as 6 hours, be waterproof, non-drying, and ultra-lightweight!

Lip Slay is available in 10 universally flattering shades with names inspired by none other than her bride squad:

Loved by the Bride Squad

Right after getting their hands on VIYLine Cosmetics’ Lip Slay, the bride squad immediately chose a shade for them to use during the #PerfectCongViynation wedding.

Karen Villes, a.k.a Kha Kha, Viy’s bridesmaid, shared a quick TikTok video of how the shades “Abigail” and “Andrea” look on the lips.

“Ganda! Sobrang bilis n’ya mag-matte! Ang galing mo naman Viy Cortez,” the VIYLine girl happily shared.

Kha also attests that the lip product has an intense pigment, making it harder to remove, hence its claim to be long-wearing.

One of the wedding guests, Carylle Del Rosario, also shared a close-up swatch party of 4 out of 10 Lip Slay shades in a TikTok video.

Of course, the Team Payaman editors also had to try the Lip Slay by VIYLine Cosmetics for fun!

While watching the guests enjoy their exclusive set of Lip Slay, netizens can’t help but demand that the wedding-exclusive lip product be available on VIYLine Cosmetics’ shopping platforms.
