Before releasing MuyVien Apparel to the public, vlogger, and entrepreneur Vien Iligan-Velasquez ensured the brand vision would come to life by hiring a professional social media manager.
By employing one, Vien’s clothing business will surely have its branding and specifically cater to the target market’s needs with the help of compelling content they post online.
In April 2023, Vien posted a job advertisement for a social media manager, allowing Yani to shoot her shot and score the position.
“Still applied even if 4 days ago na ‘yung post. I was actually thinking na may na-hire na that time sa dami ng nag-comment and nag-react,” Yani said in a TikTok video.
Luckily, MuyVien Apparel was able to find the perfect social media manager, and that’s Zsar Alanee de Asis, a.k.a Yani.
In a TikTok video, Yani shared how her journey as a social media manager started when she entered Congpound.
Yani capped off college with a degree in Chemistry. Far from her course, Yani started earning through entrepreneurship, handling everything from inventory to content creation.
From there, Yani used her free time to upskill, take some freelancing opportunities, and found her love for digital marketing, which pushed her to officially become a social media manager.
With the help of her social media platforms, Yani created content and started posting educational content that gained her audience’s interest online.

Yani shared how she plans and executes content for MuyVien Apparel, which revolves around content planning, graphic designing, and copywriting.
Yani also serves as the face of MuyVien Apparel for its interactive content such as reels that we see online.
She is also responsible for manning their booth during events and spearheading the creation of creative outputs required by brand collaborations of her girl boss, Vien Iligan-Velasquez.
