Luxe Slim Expands Brand Presence Through Exhibits and Expos in Medical Conventions

Despite being in the beauty and wellness industry for only two years, Luxe Beauty & Wellness Group by Anna Magkawas’ presence in the market has sent shockwaves to both consumers and its affiliates.

In two years, the luxury bag seller-turned-vlogger, and now Queen of her own empire, has launched multiple brands, namely Luxe Skin, Luxe Slim, and Luxe Cosmetics.

Besides launching various high-quality products, getting the most sought-after celebrity endorsers, and multi-million sales on online shopping platforms, Anna Magkawas is now determined to expand the brand’s presence through booth exhibits and expos, specifically at medical conventions. 

Widening Horizon

During the International Grand Masterclass & First Aesthetic Convention in the Philippines on November 16 at SMX Convention Center, Aura, Magkawas emphasized the importance of a brand’s online visibility in today’s market. 

“Social media presence is really the number one tip, kasi halos lahat ngayon online na. Kailangan lang po natin sabayan yung trend, kasi kung hindi maiiwan tayo,”  Magkawas said.

But despite having 1.5 million followers on TikTok, the Luxe Beauty & Wellness Group CEO said they are now trying to tap different markets by joining and accepting invitations from medical expos and conventions. 

“So yung mga ganito [exhibit and expos] for me iba naman yung target market. Siyempre it’s a leverage for us na ma-invite sa ganitong klaseng event dahil mostly ng mga nandito ay medical professionals,” Magkawas told VIYLine Media Group (VMG).

“Somehow we want to introduce our products sa kanila kasi syempre sila yung mas pinagkakatiwalaan pa rin ng mga tao ‘di ba? And syempre mga doctors yan, they know kung ano talaga yung mas makakabuti and magiging okay para gamitin,” she added.

Approved by Doctors

This kind of exposure to medical conventions is very timely, especially now that more doctors and medical practitioners are vouching for the benefits of her products, specifically Luxe Slim Beauty Juice and Coffees.

Just like Pedia, aesthetic dermatologist and medical acupuncturist Dr. Eloisa Tulayba, the CEO of Cosmederme Clinic – Centuria Medical Makati.

Dr. Tulayba said doctors like her are cautious in choosing brands with health claims, so they make sure it is FDA approved and check its components and customer testimonials. 

“Yun pong mga product ng Luxe Slim aids in slimming. So when you lose weight, you also control your hypertension, and you also control your sugar level,” Dr. Tulayba told VMG during the 29th Annual Convention of the Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists Inc. at the Grand Hyatt Manila.

Meanwhile, Magkawas is grateful for testimonials from doctors and other medical professionals like this. 

“I’m so happy because ang main vision ng product, we are not just promoting beauty but also wellness. Ayaw natin na gagamit tayo ng produkto and then magsisisi tayo after 5 or 10 years may sakit tayo dahil sa iniinom natin.”

The International Grand Masterclass & First Aesthetic Convention and 9th Annual Convention of the Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists Inc. were not the first times Luxe Beauty & Wellness Group joined a medical convention. 

They were first invited to the Philippine Academy of Clinical and Cosmetic Dermatology (PACCD) 20th Annual Convention at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, Manila last month where doctors and medical professionals almost wiped out products from their booth.
