Cong TV Shares Encounter with Marvel Actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman

Just in time for the release of the “Deadpool and Wolverine” film this month, Team Payaman vlogger Cong TV and actor Donny Pangilinan flew to South Korea for its international screening.

In addition to viewing the movie for the first time, Cong and Donny personally met “Deadpool and Wolverine” stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and here’s what happened. 

Feeling Surreal

Beyond being a fan of superhero movies, Lincoln Velasquez, a.k.a. Cong TV, and Donny Pangilinan take pride in representing the Philippines in meeting these huge Hollywood actors.

“Siguro ito ‘yung moment sa buhay ko na greatest, and at the same time, sobrang random na moment ng buhay ko, like, anong ginagawa ko rito?” Cong said in his recent vlog.

Although the preparations were thorough, Cong admitted that he was nervous about facing the famous Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

The Interview

Despite their nervousness, Cong and Donny nailed the interview and were able to let the Hollywood actors play along with their skits.

The introduction may seem nerve-wracking initially, but it seemed fun and jolly after some icebreakers.

The interview revolved around questions regarding the film, but Cong and Donny made it as fun and interactive as possible as the viewers would like it to be.

“In the trailer, you fight a lot… Why?” Cong asked.

“It’s a love language,” Jackman jokingly said.

Reynolds added: “It’s our love language; it’s how we express ourselves.”

After the Q&A segment, Donny also asked the actors to play the “Who’s Most Likely” game, with questions based on the movie and its characters.

The interaction ended with the legendary Gen-Z selfie or the 0.5x frame selfie with the group.
