On Sunday, June 2, 2024, Morena Beauty Studio Owner Aira Rivera officially welcomed Viy Cortez as their official endorser and future franchise owner through a contract signing and media launch.
The girl bosses also share how passionate they are about taking self-care to the next level with the services and vision that Morena Beauty Studio has to offer.

Being the first official endorser of Morena Beauty Studio, Viy Cortez admits that she was fascinated by the salon’s unique concept and message.
The 27-year-old Team Payaman vlogger and entrepreneur also revealed that Aira Rivera was among the first few people who trusted her when she started her vlogging career with partner Cong TV.
“Nasa car rentals pa si ma’am then kinuha niya kami ni Cong para mag promote nung car rentals niya. So, isa siya sa mga nagtiwala [sa amin] unang una palang,” Viy recalled.
But more than Viy’s extensive social media following and their previous work relationship, Rivera said that Viy’s wit, charm, and unbothered attitude against online critics resonates with the “Vibrant Filipina” that the brand stands for.
As a woman of many roles, Viy is also proud to champion self-care, self-love, and self-improvement through the help of Morena Beauty Studio.
When asked for a self-care advice for busy moms like her, Viy said: “Siguro ang ma-aadvice ko lang din, ‘wag kayong ma-pressure na magmukhang maganda palagi.”
“Pero kung gusto niyo minsan na alagaan ang sarili, kasi minsan nakakapagod din, ang dami mong ginagawa sa buhay… Sa mga gustong magpaganda pumunta kayo sa Morena Beauty Studio.”

Morena Beauty Studio opened in November 2023 to create a space to celebrate Filipina heritage and unique beauty. Its first and main branch is located at Betterliving, Parañaque City.
Aira Rivera shared that the name Morena Beauty Studio is rooted in her past experiences of having an inferiority complex because of her skin color. Eventually, she embraced being Morena and empowered fellow Filipinas to see that our natural sunkissed tropical skin is also beautiful.
“We needed to have a vision, hindi lang basta nail studio and eyelash studio. So sabi ko, why not start with myself, sino ba ako? And I’m proud to say I’m a Filipina, and I am Morena,” the Morena Beauty Studio owner said.
The nail and eyelash studio prides itself on offering Filipina-friendly services, such as nail colors that complement Morenas and lash extensions that fit the captivating Filipina’s eyes.
In addition to having Viy Cortez on board, Morena Beauty Studio is now ready to conquer the country through franchising opportunities.
Viy also expressed interest in opening her own franchise, which she plans to co-own with sisters-in-law and fellow vloggers Vien Iligan-Velasquez, Pat Velasquez-Gaspar, and Venice Velasquez.
