Junnie Boy, Vien Iligan-Velasquez Celebrate Alona Viela’s Christening and 1st Birthday

Team Payaman couple Junnie Boy and Vien Iligan-Velasquez hosted a back-to-back celebration as their youngest daughter, Alona Viela, turns one and is officially welcomed to the Christian World. 

On December 8, 2023, the same day as the Feast of Immaculate Conception, Alona Viela finally received the Sacrament of Baptism at L’annunziata Parish in Muntinlupa City. The ceremony was headed by L’annunziata Parish priest and Team Payaman’s trusted officiator, Fr. Nelson Osorio, OSJ. 

The entire entourage of Team Payaman was present to witness Viela’s milestone and to affix their vows as her godparents. 

“Thank you po sa lahat ng present na ninong at ninang. Isa-save po namin yung mga picture para paglaki ni Viela alam niya kung sino yung mga hahanapin niya!” Junnie Boy quipped in an exclusive interview with VIYLine Media Group (VMG).

Viela turns 1

Viela’s Baptismal Ceremony was quickly followed by a party at Paradiso Terrestre to celebrate her 1st birthday. 

Inspired by her name “Alona,” which is derived from the word “Alon” or waves, Mommy Vien and Daddy Junnie prepared an under-the-sea-themed party through the help of Awesome Events Ph.

The Team Payaman power couple also made sure that Viela’s milestone was captured perfectly, thanks to team Bella Morcen, The Baby Village Studio, and Laugh Tale Pictures by Pau Juangco snapshots and video coverage. 

Meanwhile, Mommy Vien expressed a short but sweet birthday wish to her unica hija: “To my princess, Viela, sana lumaki kang mabuting bata and siyempre nandito lang si Mommy and Daddy para gabayan ka sa mga tatahakin mo sa buhay.” 

She also thanked Viela’s Ninang Viy Cortez for bringing TP Kids to the party to give educational books and learning materials as a token to all her kiddie guests. 

“So sa mga may birthday dyan, available po sila sa mga birthday parties. Lalo na itong TP Kids kasi pambata talaga siya, perfect ‘to lalo na sa mga activities sa mga birthday parties ng mga bata.”
