IT’S A BOY! Pamilya nina Cong TV and Viy Cortez may Mensahe Para kay ‘Baby Kidlat’

The secret is out! Cong TV and Viy Cortez are expecting a Baby Boy! Yay! 

In a recent gender reveal party, the content creators announced that Baby Kidlat is a boy. During the intimate ceremony, the couple’s family and friends gathered in an open field and waited for a helicopter to release a color powdered smoke that represents Kidlat’s gender. 

While everyone wished the baby to be healthy more than anything else, Cong and Viy’s family could not help but share their excitement in the arrival of the couple’s first-born son. 

Velasquez family reaction

In an exclusive interview with VIYLine Media Group (VMG), Mr. Val Velasquez a.k.a “Papa Shoutout,” Cong TV’s father, said that he wishes Viy to have a safe and healthy pregnancy with Kidlat.

“Sana lumaki siyang mabait na bata, may takot sa Diyos, at higit sa lahat ay mahal niya ang magulang ang habang buhay.”

As per the Velasquez matriarch, Mrs. Jocelyn Velasquez admits she was still shocked and speechless with the turnout of events. However, the so-called “Mama Revlon” revealed the whole Velasquez fam is thrilled to see Cong and Viy’s Unico Hijo. 

Meanwhile, Kidlat’s aunts Venice and Pat Velasquez assured the baby boy that the “stage titas” would always have his back. 

“Naka-abang lang kami sa kaniya at nandito lang kami para sa kanya ng mga tito at tita niya na nagmamahal at nakaalalay hanggang sa paglaki niya,” Pat a.k.a “Neneng Lamig” said. 

Meanwhile, Tiyang Venice added: “Baby Kidlat, parati mong tatandaan na nandito lang ang tita, ang Tiyang, parating gagabay sayo. Tandaan mo parati na hindi ka nag-iisa, nandito lang kami para gabayan ka sa mga gusto mong mangyari sa buhay.”

Cong TV’s youngest brother, Junnie Boy, on the other hand, has a very meaningful message for Baby Kidlat. 

“Huwag kang maging kampante, Kidlat, kung ano yung meron kayo. Sana makuha mo yung diskarte ng nanay at tatay mo para yung iiwan nila sa’yo o sa inyong magkakapatid, mapalago ninyo,” Junnie said. 

“Mahal ka ni tito. Pag may ayaw kang sabihin sa nanay at tatay mo, pwede kang lumapit sa’kin, lab na lab kita,” he added. 

Junnie’s soon-to-be wife, Vien Iligan, also expressed her excitement over the arrival of Baby Kidlat. 

“Ganap na tita na talaga ako! Tita’ng ina! We love you, Kidlat! Excited na kaming makita at masilayan ka.”

Cortez family’s reaction

While Cong TV’s family is ecstatic about Baby Kidlat’s arrival, Viy’s side of the family seems to feel double the excitement as Baby Kidlat will be the first official baby boy in the family.

“Dahil puro kami babae, meron na kaming ma-i-style na lalaki. Alam namin yung mga gusto naming style para sa lalaki,” Yiv Cortez, Viy’s youngest sister, told VMG. 

“For a change lalaki, kaya masaya!” Mrs. Imelda Cortez said. Meanwhile, Viy’s eldest sister Ivy wishes Kidlat to become a good boy. 

When asked if he is happy that Kidlat is a baby boy, Mr. Rolando Cortez a.k.a “Papa Wow” said: 

“Either babae o lalaki, okay ako. Pero mas interesado ako sa magiging liwanag ni Kidlat.”

Abraham Lincoln “Kidlat” Velasquez

In a recent vlog, the 25-year-old Viyline Group of Companies CEO said they are planning to name the baby boy Abraham Lincoln Velasquez. 

When VMG asked if she also had a preferred name in case it was a girl, Viy said: “Wala talaga kaming maisip for girl, Abraham Lincoln lang talaga. Kaya siguro, kasi baby boy talaga.”
