30,000 and counting
Miss Ivy’s online apparel shop called “Ivy’s Feminity” recently reached a new milestone by hitting 30,000 followers on Facebook. This is a huge achievement for the mother/entrepreneur as her online business started from scratch.
Before the pandemic changed our lives, Ivy was already selling her preloved clothes through the said platform. When online selling became a massive hit on social media platforms, the ultimate “Queendera” saw it as an opportunity and decided to join the trend.
“Hindi naman mahirap para sa akin magbenta eh, kasi mula pagkabata nagbebenta na talaga kami Viy,” Ivy told VMG in an exclusive interview.
“So sabi ko, kung ako nga nagha-house-to-house (selling) noon, nakikipag-usap sa mga customer, feeling ko mas madali ngayon kasi hindi ko sila (harapan) kausap,” she added.
Ivy eventually ventured into wearable and trendy retail items, which became a hit in the market.
What started as 30 pieces of clothing items with PHP5,000 as capital, Ivy’s Feminity now sells 30 to 40 thousand worth of trendy clothes. The mompreneur also expressed her gratitude to Team Payaman girls, who became the suki and instant endorsers of Ivy’s Feminity.
In celebrating having 30,000 followers on Facebook, Miss Ivy revealed that two more social media influencers would soon serve as Ivy’s Feminity ambassadress.
But wait, there’s more! She also teased about upcoming products, especially for women in the plus-size category.
Online selling pa more!
Aside from the influx of orders, Miss Ivy revealed that the most fulfilling part of online selling is seeing satisfied customers turn into loyal patrons of her shop.
She also emphasized the importance of selling high-quality products and having good customer service.
“Maging sensitive tayo sa produkto natin, dapat good quality at good service tayo. Yung maganda yung customer service, mabait ka, humble ka,” she added.
When asked about her advice to fellow moms who hustle day in and out for their families, Miss Ivy could not help but get emotional thinking about her daughters.
“Wag tayong mapagod.
Wag tayo mag giveup. Faith at sipag.”
On behalf of VIYLine Media Group, Happy Mother’s Day, Miss Ivy, and all the hustling moms out there! We salute you!
