The long wait is finally over! YouTube power couple Cong TV and Viy Cortez finally revealed the gender of their first baby.
On Feb. 3, Thursday, the couple held an intimate gender reveal party in Palazzo Verde at Daang Reyna, Las Piñas City. It was graced by their family members and the rest of the Team Payaman group.
Dressed in white and nude-colored outfits, the excited family and friends of Cong and Viy gathered in an open-field area to simultaneously find out if Baby Kidlat is a girl or a boy.
Helicopter! Helicopter!

The couple hired a helicopter that roamed near the open field and released a colored powder smoke to signify the gender of the baby—color blue for a baby boy and pink for a baby girl.
To make the gender reveal more exciting, everyone was instructed to close their eyes as the helicopter approached the field. They only opened their eyes as soon as the aircraft released the color power smoke, creating a remarkable streak across the sky.
Party games and more
Right after revealing Baby Kidlat’s gender, Cong TV and Viy Cortez treated their intimate guests with fun games with cash prizes.
During the first game, the audience would have to guess the song’s title that the DJ played. It was a fun and exciting guessing game, which filled that crowd with laughter.
For the second game, the couple personally chose the participants that would play in groups.
Team boys should collect stuff in pink, while team girls should collect items in blue.
In the end, the girls’ team composed of Yiv Cortez, Vien Iligan, Venice, and Pat Velasquez won the game.
Baby Kidlat
In the end, Cong TV and Viy Cortez expressed their warm gratitude to those people who took time and attended the intimate gender reveal party.
The 30-year-old content creator also made a special shoutout to Viy’s friend, who, according to him, persuaded the vlogger-turned-businesswoman to meet him seven years ago.
“Noong una kaming magkikita ni Viy, nagdadalawang isip siyang pumunta. Pumunta siya kasi sinamahan siya ni Em,” Cong TV narrated.
“So shout out sa’yo, Em. Dahil sa’yo, andyan (ngayon) si Kidlat!” he added.
The soon-to-be father also shared a heartwarming message for their first baby.
“Nakikita mo naman siguro, anak, napaka-special mo. Kung mapapanood mo ‘to 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 30 years from now makikita mong itong video na ‘to at makikita mo kung paano namin pinagdiwang ikaw,” Cong said.
“Hindi ka pa lumalabas siguro nakikita mo na kung gaano ka namin kamahal. Maraming maraming salamat kasi dumating ka, mukhang babaguhin mo ang buhay namin. I love you, Kidlat!” he added.
