TikTok Awards Philippines Names Viy Cortez as TikTok Shop Brand Owner of the Year

The online community has spoken and crowned Viy Cortez as the TikTok Shop Brand Owner of the Year for 2023!

In a recently concluded awards night streamed online via TikTok, the VIYLine Group of Companies CEO received the award and expressed gratitude to her ever-supportive “Viviys.”

On August 2023, TikTok Awards Philippines announced the categories open for online voting. One of which is the TikTok Shop Brand Owner of the Year, where Viy was nominated alongside nine other TikTok Shop brand owners, namely Sammy J, Reese Tayag-Regua, Glenda Dela Cruz, Louie Jay Baloc, Mark Onacse, Anna Magkawas, Rosenda Casaje, Anjanette Pepito, and Kristine Tenido.

The online voting was held from August 27 to September 5, 2023, where the 26-year-old vlogger and entrepreneur has been leading the race since day one and gathered over 5 million votes.

Wearing her pink modern Filipiniana, Viy Cortez graced the red carpet awarding ceremony at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. 

After being named the TikTok Shop Brand Owner of the Year, the VIYLine CEO thanked everyone who made such recognition possible, especially her family, employees, and supporters. 

“Maraming maraming salamat po, TkTok. Napaka laking opportunity yung binigay niyo para sa VIYLine. Siyempre maraming maraming salamat sa pamilya ko dahil lagi niyo akong ginagabayan,” Viy said. 

“Siyempre sa VGC family, hindi lalaki ang VIYLine kung wala kayo, sa VIYLine family maraming maraming salamat. Syempre sa Team Payaman, kay Cong, Love, thank you thank you so much! At sa anak ko, Kidlat, lahat ng ginagawa ko ay para sa’yo,” she added.

In an interview with VIYLine Media Group (VMG), Viy said she would love to thank everyone who voted for her. 

“Maraming maraming salamat sa mga walang tigil na nagpipindot sa kanilang cellphone para iboto ako. Guys, hindi ko alam kung papano kayo pasasalamatan, pasasalamatan ko na lang kayo sa Team Payaman Fair, magkita kita tayo don, iha-hug ko kayo lahat kahit 6 million pa kayong bumoto.”

The successful businesswoman also encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to grab the opportunity to sell their products through TikTok Shop and get a life-changing experience like her.

“Kung kayo ay may business, kung kayo ay nagtitinda, unahin nyong aralin o pag-aralan paano gawin ay itong TikTok. Dahil mababago talaga nito ang buhay ng mga kagaya kong nagne-negosyo. As in lahat ng tao ngayon nasa TikTok, kung gusto niyo ng more-more benta, go na sa TikTok (shop).”
