Boss Keng and Pat Gaspar Celebrate Baby Isla’s Christening

Team Payaman vloggers Boss Keng and Pat Velasquez-Gaspar officially welcomed their firstborn son, Isla Patriel, to the Christian world after a solemn Baptism Ceremony. 

The couple celebrated Isla’s Christening on September 9, 2023, the same day as Boss Keng’s 31st birthday.

The adorable two-month-old baby received the Sacrament of Baptism at L’annunziata Parish in Muntinlupa City. A celebration at Espacio Events Place in Las Piñas City followed the ceremony.

L’Annunziata Parish priest Fr. Nelson Osorio, OSJ, officiated the ceremony and also presented a Marble Chess Table Set as a birthday gift to Boss Keng.  

Ninongs and Ninangs

Isla Patriel’s baptismal was graced by the entire entourage of the vlogger group Team Payaman, together with Pat and Keng’s close family and friends. 

Baby Isla has a total of 86 godparents, who all attended such milestones and welcomed him to the Christian world. Some of them even shared their well-wishes with the newly baptized baby boy.

“Welcome to the Christian world, Isla. Sana lumaki kang mabuti at siyempre may takot sa Diyos,” Ninang Vien Iligan-Velasquez said. 

Ninang Viy Cortez added: “Lagi kang sumunod sa ‘yong mga magulang. Nandito lang kami tita-tito mo hanggang sa paglaki niyong magpipinsan nandito kami.”

Grateful Parents

In an exclusive interview with VIYLine Media Group (VMG), first-time parents Pat Gaspar and Boss Keng expressed gratitude to those who celebrated with their families. 

“Maraming maraming salamat po sa pagpunta. Na-appreciate namin na gusto niyo talagang maging ninong at ninang sa aming anak. Maraming maraming salamat po, sana marami po kayong regalo sa kanya,” Daddy Keng quipped.
“Hindi sa materyal na bagay, pero yung sa paglaki ni Isla, magabayan (nila) si Isla,” Mommy Pat added.
