Some members of Team Payaman closed another chapter of their book in the world of podcasts. It is after Junnie Boy, Boss Keng, Burong, and Tryke Gutierrez bid goodbye to the second season of the Payaman Insider podcast on Spotify.
On March 11, the boys uploaded the 40th and final episode of Payaman Insider Season 2. Join VIYLine Media Group (VMG) as we take a walk down memory lane on the adventure of Team Payaman boys in the podcasting world.
Payaman Insider is a Spotify exclusive podcast that started in Feb. 2021, hosted by Tier One Entertainment’s Big Boss Tryke Gutierrez. During the 1st season, he was accompanied by other Team Payaman members such as Junnie Boy, RogerRaker, and Peachy Twice.
The podcast mainly discusses the ins and outs of the renowned vlogger group in the country. They talk about anything under the sun but primarily focus on the behind-the-scenes of content creation.
In May 2021, Payaman Insider welcomed new co-hosts Burong (Aaron Macacua) and Boss Keng (Christian Gaspar), which made the online kwentuhan more fun and full of wisdom.
During the season finale episode, Boss Tryke said that aside from the memorable episodes such as “Meme” and “Usapang Lalaki,” he valued the most memories they have created while recording each episode.
“Para syang inuman na walang alcohol,” Tryke said.
Junnie Boy echoed his statement, adding that doing the podcast does not feel like a job. To him, it’s like a time to chill and chat with friends.
“Kwentuhan lang sa gigilid, ang dami nyo ng ma-imagine na nakakatawang bagay. Kasi yun yung nawala nagkaron ng pandemic, hindi ka na makatambay sa labas kasama mga tropa mo. Kaya parang yun yung mga bagay na na-eenjoy ko habang ginagawa natin to,” Cong TV’s brother explained.
But for Boss Keng, the highlight of the podcast’s season 2 is getting to know more about Tryke Guttierez.
Keng explained that he didn’t expect that the Tier 1 Big Boss could actually be on the same wavelength of thinking and comedy as how Team Payaman boys joke around.
Meanwhile, the Payaman Insider boys also expressed gratitude to all the listeners who enjoyed and laughed with them during the entire season.
“Ang sarap sa pakiramdam, akala ko kami-kami lang nakakarinig nitong mga sinasabi namin. Akala ko nakikinig lang dito mama ko, pero ang dami, parang libo!” Boss Keng said.
Burong added: “Ako naman gusto kong magpasalamat sa lahat ng nakikinig sa’tin at saka sa lahat ng sumusubaybay sa podcast. Kasi kung hindi dahil sa inyo, hindi magiging posible ‘to.”
Tryke also thanked Spotify for allowing them to have a platform to share happiness during the pandemic.
