Short-Form Classes To Try For Your Kids, As Seen On Kidlat

There’s no better way to spend your kids’ free time than to let them learn a few hobbies and skills at home.

While workshops and 1-on-1 classes can be costly, here are some suggestions to make the parents’ hard-earned money worth it, as seen on Cong TV and Viy Cortez-Velasquez’s son, Kidlat.

Music Class

Team Payaman kid Zeus Emmanuel Velasquez, a.k.a. Kidlat, has been taking music classes for months now, and we’re here for it!

While still at home, waiting for the perfect moment to go to an actual school, Daddy Cong and Mommy Viy hired a music teacher for Kidlat to practice his singing skills.

Kidlat, along with his cousins Alona Viela and Isla Patriel, is supervised by Faye Hernando, their home-school Music teacher.

Together, they spend the whole afternoon singing their hearts out and practicing various musical instruments such as drums, guitar, and ukulele —something your kids will surely enjoy!

Art Class

In addition to learning to sing and play musical instruments, your kids can also explore art during their free time.

Kidlat and his cousins also love spending their free time doing artwork and displaying the results on their walls.

Like Kidlat, your kids can learn to draw, paint, and even color freehand. These activities will not only let them enjoy themselves but also enhance their creativity skills.

Mandarin Class

Just recently, Mommy Viy proudly shared a new learning venture for Kidlat, who’s now taking Mandarin Classes.

In a Facebook post, the proud mom shared a few snippets of Kidlat’s first day of learning Mandarin with his teacher, Fred.

“Ni Hao! Mandarin class with Teacher Fred! New activity ni batuting!” Viy wrote.

Learning a new language can also be fun for kids, especially if you want to improve their communication skills at a young age.

Cooking Bonding

If you’re still not ready to enroll your kids in classes, you can give them the best learning experience at home by allowing them to join your cooking sessions.

Just like Mommy Viy and Kidlat, you should expose your kids to how their delicious meals are being prepared through cooking bonding.

In a Facebook video, Mommy Viy allowed her son Kidlat to observe and help her prepare his baon for school.

Through this bonding activity, you will not just spend your time with your kids, but you also allow them to learn the basics of food preparation.
