It’s a Girl! Cong TV and Viy Cortez-Velasquez Reveal Second Baby’s Gender

The four-month-pregnant Team Payaman power couple, Cong TV and Viy Cortez-Velasquez revealed the gender of their second baby. Is Zeus Emmanuel, a.k.a Kidlat, finally becoming a big brother to a baby boy or baby girl?

The Reveal

On a beautiful Monday afternoon of October 28, 2024,  the couple held an intimate gender reveal party with their family and the rest of the Team Payaman members in Trabiesa, Tagaytay.

Expertly organized by their trusted event coordinator, Ms. Princess Anne Ramos of Events by Miss P, the event started with the guests gathered in an open field looking up to the couple situated on top of an all-white stage styled and designed by the House of Hermosa, led by the renowned stylist Mr. Gideon Hermosa.

After an exciting 10-second countdown, the grand reveal happened through a daytime firework surprise from Dragon Fireworks, setting off pink powder and confetti.

Excited and fulfilled screams from guests filled the outdoor venue of Trabiesa as they realized that the second baby of the power couple is a girl.

Nice Print Photography led the family-of-four photoshoot with their family, friends, and suppliers, as lights and music from Wabs Lights and Sounds entertained other guests and attendees who were still not over the reveal.

Aside from the gender reveal, the event also celebrated the 33rd birthday party of Lincoln Velasquez, a.k.a Cong TV, with a fine dining meal and snacks prepared by Juan Carlo Catering and cocktail drinks in a mobile bar from Cocktails to Go. 

Heartwarming Messages

In an exclusive interview with VIYLine Media Group (VMG), the couple could not contain their excitement as they shared their initial guess, future expectations, and comforting messages for each other.

“Ako, sobrang saya ko. Alam niyo, si Kidlat, sobrang close kay Viela, so parang gustong gusto niya ng baby sister. Talagang ang gentle niya kay Viela, pinupunasan niya ng kamay, sinusubuan niya ng pagkain,” Viy shared.

“Nakikita ko na kung paano siya magiging kuya dahil kay Viela,” Cong added.

Cong also shared that his only birthday wish is for the health of his family.

“Wala na akong ibang hiling sa birthday ko kundi maging malusog si Kidlat, tsaka ‘yung baby sa tiyan ni Viviys, ‘yun lang. Syempre, pati ‘yung nanay.” 

“Happy birthday, love. Sana masaya ka sa regalo ko sayong baby girl. Reregaluhan kita ulit after two years,” Viy quipped.

Meanwhile, Junnie Boy and Vien Iligan-Velasquez, are among the family and friends from Team Payaman, who also offered their heartwarming message and advice for the couple as a new parent of two kids.

“As a parent of two, mahirap siya sa totoo lang. And talagang hati talaga ‘yung oras niyo. Dapat merong nakatutok sa isa.  ‘Yung isa naman, nakatutok sa isa.  Hindi pwedeng lahat is nandito lang sa bagong baby,” Vien said.

“Pero ang pinakatitignan niyo diyan, si Kidlat. Kasi si Kidlat ‘yung may naaalala na ngayon, nakaka-intindi na. Bigyan niyo pa rin siya ng pansin. Alam ko lahat ng love and care niyo, mabibigay niyo sa new baby, sureball ‘yan. Pero lagi niyo pa rin titignan si Kidlat,” Junnie added.
