Rakrakan Festival Successfully Concludes a Night of Peace, Love, and Music

Despite the postponement in June 2023, the Rakrakan Festival made sure that its final leg would be one of the most memorable music festivals ever!

In case you missed it, VIYLine Media Group (VMG) is here to give you a recap on how “The Last Rakrakan Festival” transpired with a bang.

The Last Rakrakan Festival

Rakrakan Festival took place at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City last November 25-26, 2023. Those two days were filled not just with music but also with priceless moments that will surely save a spot in attendees’ core memories.

Rakrakan Festival featured 150+ artists, multiple music stages, merch bazaars, a busking area, a cosplay competition, skating opportunities, a rap battle, wrestling, and a B2B car show.

What made the Rakrakan Festival different was that audiences could choose the stage they wished to watch and jam on. The said event featured three stages, namely the Center Stage, Mosh Stage, and Peace Stage, which has its corresponding A-list artist lineup.

Best Music Fest Ever!

OPM performers such as Rico Blanco, Ely Buendia, December Avenue, Munimuni, Nobita, and many more made the 2-night music festival more epic than ever.

Singer-songwriter and Team Payaman member Awi Columna also graced the event and shared what he has prepared for his performance.

“Syempre dahil Rakrakan Festival ‘to, plan ko na i-jam ngayon ‘yung mga kanta ng COLN at may isa rin akong bagong song na ilalabas dito sa Rakrakan!” Columna told VMG.

Meanwhile, December Avenue, the band behind the hit songs “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-Ibig” and “Huling Sandali,” shared that after their Rakrakan Festival performance, there’s more to look out for the band.

“More songs! Abangan n’yo ‘yung mga susunod naming mga kanta!” says Zel Bautista.

The band behind the ever-heartbreaking “Bawat Piyesa” and “Sa’yo” — Munimuni extended their appreciation to the fans who made it through the last Rakrakan Festival.

“Maraming salamat at pumunta kayo. Mahal namin kayo! Ramdam na ramdam namin ‘yung suporta, and we hope na-enjoy nila ‘yung set namin!”

Of course, the attendees couldn’t get enough of their experience as they sang their hearts out to their favorite artists while snacking and participating in different activities at the event.

Lastly, the team behind the successful Rakrakan Festival extends their deepest gratitude to those who made time to make the said music festival possible and as fun as ever.
