Debutante Yiv Cortez gets emotional as her dream debut party unfolds right before her eyes. 

Last April 28, Team Payaman’s next-gen sweetheart celebrated her 18th birthday in the most stylish way. The debutante dazzled in her evening gown following her dream to have a KPop-inspired garden-themed party.

Friends, family? Present!

The debutante thanked her dear guests for making it through her special day despite the travel and weather disturbances.

Her ever-supportive friends and classmates were also present at the said event, making the debutante appreciate her day even more.

Additionally, families from both sides of her parents likewise made it to her much-awaited party. Team Tumbaga or Team Cortez, name it, they’re there. 

A Token of Gratitude for the Cortez Sisters

The debutante burst into tears during her final speech as she thanked her sisters Ivy Ragos and Viy Cortez. Yiv said her siblings not only turned her dream debut into reality but also guided her as she grew older. 

Despite not being able to have her own debut celebration, the VIYLine Group of Companies CEO made sure that her youngest sister would experience this once-in-a-lifetime event. 

Meanwhile, Ate Ivy told the debutante: “Kanina, naiyak ako kasi narealize ko hindi mo na ako ite-text kapag magpapasama ka.” 

Indeed, the Cortez sisters made an unmatched bond, and we’re here to adore it!

Thanksgiving Speech

Before calling it a night, the debutante herself gave her tear-jerking thanksgiving speech that left everyone in awe.

“Gusto ko lang po magpasalamat sa lahat ng pumunta ngayon. And of course, sa Team Payaman sa lahat po ng sinabi nyo sa akin dadalhin ko ‘yun habang buhay.” 

Of course, Yiv Cortez emotionally addressed her parents and thanked them for their undying love and support. 

“Thank you po [Mama and Papa], even though may mga time na nagiging pasaway po ako, iniintindi nyo pa rin po ako. Maraming salamat po sa suportang ibinibigay niyo po sa aming magkakapatid.”

Indeed, Mr. and Mrs. Cortez raised such beautiful, responsible, and down-to-earth daughters who now served as role models to others as well.
